Our specialism
Why powerflush your heating?
Over the years, sludge, rust and scale settle inside radiators, pipework and the boiler, slowing the flow of hot water. A powerflush pumps water and cleaning chemicals through the system at high speed to loosen that build-up and flush it away.
- Radiators heat evenly, with cold spots cleared
- A quieter boiler, free from scale and debris
- Faster warm-up from better circulation
- A more efficient heating system
- Refilled with clean water and inhibitor to protect against future corrosion or sludge build-up
- Helps protect the warranty on a new boiler installation
Professional equipment
We powerflush with a Kamco Clearflow CF90 pump. It moves up to 150 litres of water a minute, reverses the flow instantly to shift stubborn debris, and suits systems from microbore pipework up to 40 radiators. It can handle homes of up to three storeys. Every flush comes with a written report of what was done.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my heating needs a powerflush?
Common signs are radiators with cold spots, a system that is slow to warm up, a noisy boiler or pump, and dirty water when a radiator is bled.
How long does a powerflush take?
Most homes are completed in a day. Larger systems, or those with heavy sludge, can take longer. We’ll tell you what to expect when we quote.
Will a powerflush cause leaks?
It’s uncommon, but sludge can sometimes be sealing small weak spots in old, corroded parts. Once it’s flushed away, a weak part may leak. We explain this before any work starts.
Will it fix every radiator?
A powerflush removes sludge and scale, but it can’t repair parts already worn by corrosion. We look at your system first and tell you honestly what to expect.
Do I need a powerflush with a new boiler?
A new boiler should be fitted to a clean system, and flushing first removes debris that could damage it. The manufacturer may also require a powerflush before fitting for the warranty to be valid.
Can you quote from a photo?
Often, yes. Send us a photo of the job by email or WhatsApp with a short description, and we can usually quote without a visit. For larger jobs we’ll arrange to call round.
Do you offer maintenance schedules?
Yes. We can book regular visits to top up the protective inhibitor and service your heating system, and planned property maintenance visits for preventative repairs and routine upkeep.
What happens after the job?
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months. We record the warranty on any part we fit that needs regular servicing and contact you before it runs out, so nothing is missed.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Chichester and cover West Sussex and Hampshire.
Are you insured?
Yes. We hold public liability insurance up to £5 million.
Do you do gas and boiler work?
We don’t do gas work ourselves, but we can put you in touch with a Gas Safe registered engineer from our trusted network for boiler repairs, gas work and certification. You deal with them and pay them directly.
How can I pay?
By cash or bank transfer. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice, and we’re not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
Do you work evenings, weekends and emergencies?
Yes. Call and we’ll do our best to get to you as soon as we can.
Do you work for landlords and letting agents?
Yes, on homes. Where a tenant is in, they can sign to confirm the work is done, so you have proof without being there.
Do you charge for quotations?
No. Quotations are free on all work.

Terms and conditions
These terms apply to all work carried out by Full Bore Plumbing Solutions for domestic customers, together with our written quotation. Last updated October 2026.
1. Quotations
Our written quotation is valid for 30 days, excluding special order items, which are priced when they are ordered. It covers only the work described in it. You can accept it by signing it, or by text, WhatsApp or email. Accepting in any of these ways means you agree to these terms.
2. Extra work
Anything not in the quotation, or hidden problems found once work has started, will be discussed and priced with you before it is carried out.
3. Deposits
We may ask for a deposit towards materials before work starts. Any deposit is shown on the quotation, receipted, and taken off the final invoice.
4. Payment
Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Payment is by cash or bank transfer.
5. Materials
Materials we supply remain our property until the invoice is paid in full.
6. Access and services
Please give clear access to the work area and the use of water and electricity. Dates may change if we are delayed by something outside our control.
7. Existing systems
We cannot be responsible for faults in existing pipework, fittings or appliances that were already present or are revealed by the work, particularly on older systems. Powerflushing has its own disclaimer.
8. Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Parts carry the manufacturer's guarantee. This does not cover misuse, accidental damage, frost, fair wear and tear, or work altered by others.
9. Gas and electrical work
We do not carry out gas work or certified electrical work ourselves. Where your job needs it, we can put you in touch with a Gas Safe registered engineer or a qualified electrician from our trusted network. They quote you directly, you agree the work and pay them directly, and they issue their own certification. Their work is covered by their own terms and guarantee, not ours.
10. Your right to cancel and start of work
If you agreed the work at your home, away from our premises, or by phone, text, WhatsApp or email, you normally have 14 days to cancel. See your right to cancel. We normally start work once the 14 days have ended. If you ask us to start sooner, you are asking us to begin during the cancellation period: if you then cancel, you pay for the work done up to then, and you lose the right to cancel once the work is fully completed. If you cancel at any other time, you pay for work done, materials bought for your job and any supplier restocking charge.
11. Our responsibility to you
We do not limit our liability for death or injury caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen, or for business losses on domestic jobs.
12. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of the work, please tell us as soon as possible by phone or email and we will put it right promptly.
13. Your information
We use your details only to carry out the work, invoice you and keep our records. See our privacy notice.
14. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Cancellations
Your right to cancel
Your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 when work is agreed away from our premises, or by phone, email or message. This notice is also printed, with a cancellation form, on the back of your quotation.
Your 14 days
If the work was agreed at your home or anywhere else away from our premises, or entirely by phone, email or message, you can cancel within 14 days without giving a reason. For labour-only work, the 14 days start on the day after the work was agreed. Where we also supply goods, such as parts, fittings or appliances, they start on the day after the last of those goods is delivered to you.
How to cancel
Tell us clearly by phone on 07923 377141, by email to fullboreplumbingsolutions@gmail.com, or by letter. It is enough to send your message before the 14 days are up. You can use the cancellation form printed on the back of your quotation, but you do not have to.
Refunds
We refund the money you have paid, including any deposit, by the same method you paid and with no fee for the refund. For labour-only work we refund within 14 days of being told. Where goods were supplied, we refund within 14 days of getting them back, or of you showing us proof that they have been sent.
If you asked us to start early
We only start work inside the 14 days if you ask us to in writing. If you then cancel, you pay for the work done up to the time you told us, in proportion to the full price. Once the work is fully completed, the right to cancel ends.
Returning goods
Goods we supplied that have not been fitted must be returned to us within 14 days of telling us you are cancelling. You pay the direct cost of returning them. Bulky items that were delivered to your home and cannot normally be posted, such as radiators, cylinders and tanks, we collect free of charge. We may reduce the refund if goods have lost value through being handled or used more than was needed to check them.
Goods that cannot be cancelled
Goods made or cut to your specification, and goods that cannot be separated once fitted, such as pipe, fittings and consumables built into your system.
Urgent repairs
There is no right to cancel where you specifically asked us to attend for an urgent repair or urgent maintenance. For example: a burst or leaking pipe, water coming through a ceiling, a stopcock or valve that will not shut off, no water supply, an overflowing tank or cistern, a leaking radiator, cylinder or immersion heater, a blocked or leaking toilet or waste pipe, or loss of heating or hot water.
Extra work at an urgent visit
The urgent repair exemption covers the urgent work you asked for and the replacement parts needed to do it. Any extra work, or other goods, agreed at the same visit can still be cancelled within 14 days.
Small jobs
There is no right to cancel where the total price is £42 or less.
